Mom and Deni on Lone Ranch Beach
A ship coming in to the harbor...with a bit of blue on the horizon promising clear skies for later The sun has finally come out...after we spent hours at the beach by the harbor today. It's just as well. That way we didn't get too hot (bundled in our sweatshirts, we might have had to take them off) and we didn't really have to worry about burning as the clouds were pretty thick.
Yesterday we visited Harris Beach as well as Lone Ranch Beach (just a little north of Harris). Didn't see the sun then either. But it was still wonderful.
Today we also managed to find the Slugs-n-Stones and Ice Cream Cones...I had chocolate peanut butter with a waffle cone for lunch today. It was marvelous. Amazingly my sister had never been there before. Glad we fixed that terrible omission.
And speaking of fixing things...brought the car in this morning. We needed 2 new tires for sure and one of the other ones didn't have much life left. So they paid us $10 for the one decent tire and I purchased 4 new tires. It's peace of mind for the trip home and they have really improved how smoothly the car rides.
