snow and new calling

Week before last was a snowy week for here. It sure was pretty while it lasted. Since I have no other photos to post this week, I thought I'd post pictures of our front yard with varying amounts of snow

Last Sunday, I was called to be the Relief Society President for my church ward. My sister-in-law, Jackie, texted me and congratulated me on my new calling. I teased her by saying that I was looking for counselors. She told me to keep looking. I said that being my counselor she would have a more flexible schedule than if she were called to be the Primary President...today she was called to be our new Primary President. I almost actually laughed out loud in church because of our previous messages (btw, she had not been called yet and didn't know she was going to be asked to be the Primary President at the time of our messages). We know from past experience and the fact that her grandchildren call her "Grandma Party" that she will do a great job as our Primary President!

Because of COVID, we have not been able to meet all together at church, but were split into 2 groups for attendance. But the guidelines have changed and, starting with today, we got to and will get to all meet every Sunday instead of being split up. And, since Glen is no longer in the Bishopric, Eric, Glen, and I were able to sit together! Love it.
