a mini-Glennie, in case you were wondering/Jacob update

When the Academy gave out semi-Glennies, they were made from clothes pins. Glennies are real trophies ordered from a company. Mini-Glennies are the cutest of the bunch:

And Jacob is staying with his Grandma Lowe for the week. He called us on Saturday night and said he still on pain killers (don't know about now, however), his right hand is in a cast and making life a bit difficult for him, but the swelling on his face has really improved and he is doing well. He wasn't taking any classes this semester, just working, so he is not behind in his studies (though I guess he is poorer than he originally planned). But he is happy and recuperating and should be back in his apartment for the weekend. Yea!!!
