My father-in-law called today after reading my blog...after we bought 24 2-qt jars. Seems they have some 2 qt jars I can use! So when I fill up the ones I have, I have a ready source for more. Too bad you can't use the vacuum sealer on dusty things like powdered sugar and cocoa. Oh, well. I'll stick with beans and marshmallows and nuts and the like.
Won't marshmallows deflate once you vacumn them?
ReplyDeletelol. I haven't tried it yet, but I just heard you can keep marshmallows in your food storage if you vacuum seal them...I'll let you know!
