Since my last post...
Hannah and Kaellen celebrated their first anniversary (Happy Anniversary Hannah and Kaellen!). My mom celebrated her birthday (Happy Birthday mom!). And school started up again (Happy Last Year of Teaching Glen!).
I took a picture of Glen on his last first-day of school and posted it to facebook (he'll be retiring after this, his 31st year of teaching). The comment that cracked me up was from our nephew, Jacob, who said, "The tie looks like it's from about 31 years ago. JK love you Uncle Glen. Great work!" When I told Glen, he said Jacob may not be too far off. The tie isn't 31, but he's probably had it for a veeeeery long time.

The thing is that his ties (most of them, anyways) are retiring with him. At the end of each day that he wears a tie (usually Mondays-Thursdays), he is stapling his old tie on the wall of his class room. Funny guy. So that would be about 144 ties at 4 ties a week...he doesn't have quite that many, so we'll see how long this can go on for.

This weekend is the annual Cantaloupe Festival and County Fair here. Glen and I walked around for about 4 hours yesterday morning and had a blast.
