Glen went back to work last Friday. Last night was back-to-school night at the high school and he really seemed to be enjoying greeting all the students. He teaches 3 theatre classes and 3 world history classes again. He team-teaches 5th block history with Mr. Rinker, and that's the block Alex has him in. Should be a good year.
Andrew is actually off this week after spending the previous week or two at school. They get this week off (to go to Ed Week?) and then teachers and students report on Monday the 22nd. He will be teaching 8th grade literature (4 sections) and 9th grade composition (2 sections) at American Preparatory Academy Draper Campus II again. This week he isn't really off from working as this is his last week of his job with the City of Provo. Heather starts classes at BYU on August 29th. Henry just turned 16 months old on the 12th.
Ryan is taking an intense class right now--a foundations of civilization class. He seems to be enjoying it. He's still job hunting. Eric is on a break until mid-September. Hannah is on her break now as well and starts up on August 29th.
Alex is spending his last day of vacation playing and trying out for the tennis team (he's trying out more for how he'll be ranked and not whether he'll be on the team or not). He's signed up for Spanish II, AP 10th grade English (language and composition), Video Production II, Honors Algebra II, World History, Honors Chemistry, and AP Psychology. I think it's interesting that 5 of his 7 teachers are LDS. Anyway, he'll be busy for sure. And later he will take his first drive...he passed his permit test yesterday and will now be on the road. Wow.
