Second leg of this summer's travels (July 15th-21st): Camp Conery at the southern end of Lake Almanor in northern California.
We had a week-long vacation with Glen and his side of the family. This year we saw some family members who hadn't been able to come the last few years, so it was extra nice. The weather was perfect...warm in the sun and cool in the shade.
Activities: playing at the beach by the lake, boating, tubing, water skiing, horseshoes, volleyball, frisbee poles, basketball, board games, card games, eating, napping, walking/hiking, visiting, reading, holding Tessa, square dancing, and for two of us it meant proposing and being accepted and then keeping it a secret from most everyone else for a week or two (Alicia and Dallin are now engaged and will be married on December 20th in the Reno Temple. Congratulations you two!)
