Does it get any better than this?

Just got back yesterday from spending 1 week with Glen's family at Camp Conery at the south end of Lake Almanor in California. It was on the chilly side (but I'd rather be a little too cold than a little too hot, I think), but it was wonderful.

A little sports














A little dancing (Glen and his sister Teresa). We did the chicken dance, the hokey pokey, Bingo, the bunny hop, the Virginia Reel and some square dancing.

Grandma and Grandpa presenting a memories quilt they made for Amanda...all the unmarried granddaughters will get one. Each fabric represents something with a connection to the family...cows, colleges, holidays, sports, music...

Very cool.

Glen and I walked most every day...and usually Eric was our companion.

On one of our hikes Ben and Alex joined us. Glen is holding up trail mix that Alex made for the hike. For Alex this hike was his last requirement for earning his Bear Badge in cub scouts. Way to go Alex!

And of course, there was plenty of food.

Almost forgot to have our family photo taken...usually it is taken in front of our cabin, but since we were ready to drive away, we opted for having the photo taken at the side of the parking lot.

It was a full, wonderful week. Thank you Mom and Dad Perazzo for making it all possible!







Other good happenings: we have a nephew and his wife who just posted on their blog that they are expecting their first baby at the end of January. Congratulations Brandon and Calista!

Ed Week catalog was published on-line this week and now I get to try and decide what lectures I'm going to attend in August.

Got my copy of the new Stampin' Up! catalog last night and now I get to ooh and aah over that.

And today is Stake Temple Day. Glen gets to spend the entire day in the baptistry and my teenagers have the opportunity to attend.

Doesn't get any better...
