And I've been baking again--besides making German chocolate cake, I also made date nut bread, raisin cinnamon bread, and a strawberry rhubarb pie this week.

Happy 57th Birthday, Glen!
On Tuesday, we celebrated Glen's birthday by eating a copycat version of Panda Express's Sweet Fire Chicken (and, boy, was it good!) and having German chocolate cake.
On Sunday, we visited the cemetery for Memorial Day
And I've been baking again--besides making German chocolate cake, I also made date nut bread, raisin cinnamon bread, and a strawberry rhubarb pie this week.
Our garden is still a work in progress as is the greenhouse. Angeles had one pea plant survive. It grew 4 tiny pea pods. And she wasn't even here to eat them as she, Ryan, Hannah, and Kaellen are in Oregon for a few days.
