I'm sitting next to my mother-in-law's bedside as I type this, but will have to post later as I'll have to add some pictures. So much has happened these last few weeks since I posted about Joy's baby blessing. Tomorrow will make 6 weeks since mom first entered the hospital. She is now on hospice care at a convalescent home. She is comfortable, but may not be with us much longer. We are saddened, but are comforted in the knowledge that families are forever and we'll be with her again. Love you, mom!
Playing catch up from the last few weeks...
Alex was in Reno from Tuesday April 10th to Friday April 13th for the SkillsUSA competition, where he competed in 2 categories-video production and medical math. He won the bronze medal in the medical math competition! He's not planning on going into the medical field. I think he just did it because it was math, which is his strong point. Speaking of Alex and math, he also participated in a math contest a week or two ago here and came in first. Congratulations Alex!
While Alex was in Reno at the competition, Glen and I went to Rexburg, Idaho for Eric's graduation from BYU-Idaho on April 13th. It was a really fun trip. It snowed on us a bit as we were driving and when we first arrived. Crazy weather.
Anyway, the convocation for Eric's college was quite fun. It was the college of the arts, which included the performing arts as well as the visual arts. Instead of having a bunch of speakers, they had some graduates perform for us. We heard a piano piece, a monologue, a song from a musical, and a woman from Eric's division spoke to us while showing pictures of some of her art work. She was a hoot. Congratulations Eric!

The day we drove back from Idaho, my brother, Kyle, and his girlfriend, Melissa, flew from New Hampshire to Vegas to my sister Denise's. Our parents were already there. I joined everybody on Monday. We had a wonderful few days together. We talked, played games, and watched (on tv) the Las Vegas Golden Knights hockey team sweep in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs. Too much fun.

I made it back home on the 19th in time to join in the 60th anniversary celebration for mom and dad Perazzo. The party was held at the convalescent home mom's in.

Less than 2 weeks now until Ryan and Angeles's wedding in San Diego. It's been a very busy spring.
