Our niece, Amanda, was getting married to Todd in St. George, Utah on the 17th. It was in the same room in the St. George Temple that her grandparents (Glen's parents), her parents (Glen's sister and brother-in-law), and her uncle and aunt (Glen and me) had been married in, so that was pretty neat. We stayed at my sister's and had a wonderful short visit there and a wonderful time with Glen's family on Saturday.
Sadly, I forgot my camera in Fallon and don't have any photos to share yet... but take my word for it, it was all beautiful...
Monday the 19th was Glen's 51st birthday. In this picture he is turning the 5 around so it looks like he's 15 and not 51.
On Friday, Hannah had her Spanish CLEP test and earned credit for 2 semesters at college. ¡Bien hecho, mi hija! She is now all done with AP and CLEP testing. We don't get the results from the 3 AP tests she took (Physics, English, and Government) until July. She has school on Tuesday and Wednesday and then finals on Thursday and Friday and then she'll be done... wow. Graduation is on June 6th.
Yesterday was the graveside service for Zelma. She passed away on April 1st, but this was the time that her 2 children could come and have a service. My in-laws have helped to take care of Zelma for the past 4 years and Glen was her home teacher. My sister-in-law Carey and I sang with a group ("I Need Thee Every Hour") and Glen gave a talk on the Plan of Salvation. Of course, there was also her grave dedication, a eulogy, a violin duet of "Amazing Grace," and the Bishop said a few words. It was all very nice. The weather was gorgeous...if it had been scheduled a few days earlier, it would have been raining.
